About Your Coach
I’m Amar, originally from London where I ran the Gibson Interactive Studio and performed all around the UK. After moving to Spain, I opened Overdrive Studios in 2015, where I teach multiple instruments and production, and record, mix and produce music for clients across many genres, as well as commercial work for TV, corporate projects and mobile games.
I’m bringing all of that know-how into a personalised 1:1 coaching experience, using everything I know from producing professionally for over a decade to help musicians like you push past the exact bottlenecks that I see songwriters and artists struggling with every day. I built this program because I got tired of watching talented people sit on ideas that deserved to exist in the world.

How It Works
1️⃣ We pick the idea. On our first coaching call, we choose the one song idea we’re going to take all the way to release, the one that’s been nagging at you the most.
2️⃣ We build it, together, stem by stem. Over our sessions, we screen-share through your DAW and work through arrangement, recording, mixing, and mastering, fixing the exact bottlenecks that have been stopping you specifically.
3️⃣ It goes live. Under your name. Your song gets released on streaming platforms. Not a demo sitting on your hard drive: a real release, out in the world.
Depending on how quickly you move through the process, there may be room to take a second idea all the way to release too. We’ll know once we’re in it.
What to Expect
This program gets you from idea to a real, released song in 3 months. What it won’t do is turn that song into a chart-ready, Top 40-level production. That’s a longer pursuit some artists spend years chasing, with a bigger team and budget behind them.
What you’re getting here is the process that gets something real out into the world, on a timeline, instead of sitting unfinished. That’s the foundation. Everything more advanced, deeper production, promotion, chasing a bigger sound, comes after you’ve proven to yourself you can finish and ship.
Who This Is For
You already have songs and basic equipment, but you get stuck turning them into finished productions. Beginner or experienced, it doesn’t matter, as long as you’re serious about finishing something real.
Who This Isn’t For
- You’re after generic production tutorials or gear advice: this is hands-on work on your actual songs, not a course
- You want a full songwriting service or coaching starting from nothing: we work with an idea you already have, and I’ll help sharpen it, not write it for you from scratch
- You want promotion or marketing support: this program ends when your song is released; growing an audience for it is a separate conversation, once the song exists

Yes, 100%. Writer splits can be a headache and it’s another reason why I only guide lightly when it comes to songwriting. I take zero writing/production/arrangement credits. The song and the master are 100% yours.
Yes: we will complete and release at least one song together! If you follow my guidance every step of the way and we still haven’t gotten there, I’ll keep working with you for free until we do.
This can vary, but a DAW and basic recording setup (interface, mic, headphones/monitors and a reasonably capable computer or laptop), is enough to begin. If you’re not sure what you’ve got is right, we’ll sort that out on the call too.
